These Vintage handcrafted Indian Chapati Boards are unique with its own imperfections.
These look/work great in kitchens & bathrooms for keeping soap dispensers off tiles, worktops or widow sills. I also use mine for salt & pepper shakers, olive oil, balsamic vinegar… I also keep one in my dressing room for placing jewellery and skincare products on.
These wooden plates were used to roll the dough on for flatbread which are commonly used in the Indian cuisine. Not one will be alike in size, carving or condition. Products can vary greatly in shape, colour and wear.
No Chapati board will look the same as each hold a different story. Pieces will show marks or age, wear and use. You can expect to find chips, bumps & scratches. But this all adds to the character of the vintage piece.
